The success of Why Me and it's programs is due, in tremendous part, to the dedicated team of volunteers committed to the mission of providing love and support for families with childhood cancer. If you want to make a difference in the life of our Why Me children and their families, there are many opportunities available to you.
To join our volunteer team, please call Ginette Trolsen at (508) 757-7734 to set up an appointment for an interview/orientation and tour of Sherry's House. Our Volunteer Application Form can be printed and completed ahead of time and brought with you to your interview/orientation meeting. In addition, a copy of a valid government issued photo ID (license or passport) is required for the CORI process.
If you have time to give, we have opportunities for you. Listed below are the general areas that Why Me looks for volunteer assistance:
In addition, as a volunteer, you can be creative. Hold a fundraising event or a Wish List drive. Coordinate a yard sale, bake sale, penny drive or car wash! The ideas are limitless and we are here to help you along the way.
